We have written a TouchESA review for customers that have been or are in contact with this company. Those with emotional or mental disabilities who find their pets provide them comfort and support should be able to live and travel with their pets without restrictions. At EzCare Medical Clinic, we’ve helped thousands of these individuals get letters that designate their pets as emotional support animals (ESAs) so they can live with them even in housing with a no pets policy and travel with them in the cabin of airlines—both with no added fees or deposits.

While EzCare offers a valid service producing legitimate letters for those who qualify, other sites like TouchESA.com provide only scam letters. Here’s how to spot the scam so you can avoid being taken advantage of.
What is TouchESA.com?
TouchESA.com is a scam site that has done a good job of disguising itself as legitimate. It does not use the word ‘registration’ as there is no recognized registration for ESAs. Many scam sites claim they can register an ESA and this is simply not true. It also has a listed physical location and phone number, though further investigation indicates these are not verifiable. It also has an official appearance and plenty of testimonials from ‘satisfied customers’. However, a red flag is that the site offers both air travel and apartment ESA letters. True ESA letters cover both. The low cost of the letters is also an issue as it indicates they do not have a licensed physician or therapist who interviews each patient to qualify them.
Is TouchESA.com Legit?
Though TouchESA.com at first appears to be legitimate, it is not. The physical address is not verifiable and the phone number goes straight to voice mail. There is also conflicting information about whether or not patients speak to a licensed health professional. One sections states that a full-time licensed psychologist reviews all questionnaires while another section states that applicants are matched up with a therapist specifically based on answers in the questionnaire. All of this adds up to the conclusion that TouchESA is a fraudulent service.

We have licensed health professionals on staff who interview all applicants either in person or via our telehealth service. Our letters are priced at $199 to reflect the time and effort put into each letter by our qualified staff.

TouchESAUnlicensed Practice of Medicine
Literally, you are not buying a letter, you are getting a consultation with a licensed doctor and receiving a prescription afterward. In order to get this prescription, you have to speak with a licensed MD via telehealth or in-person. The name of the doctor or the clinic should be available on the website so anyone can verify it with the Medical Board or the State Agency. It might be considered as an Unlicensed Practice of Medicine if someone is hiding their name.
To verify a clinic as a legitimate medical service, you can visit the Medical Board website in your state. From there, you type in the name “TouchESA” and would see the license number but that is not the case and no information is found. The only conclusion we can make is that this service is trying to make us believe they are real doctors, which we were unable to verify with the Medical Board. Verify the doctor or clinic before using any service!
